The Photography Club of Quail Creek was formed in 2009. We are composed of Quail Creek residents who want to have fun with photography, at all levels.Our member’s skills range from beginner to advanced. Our interests range from portraiture to wildlife to scenic landscape photography, and everything in between. Some of our members are even interested in astro-photography! Our member’s equipment ranges from complex to simple point and shoot cameras to the most advanced DSLRs.We meet to learn more about photography and to share our knowledge and enthusiasm with one another.

ProgramsA guest presenter or a member gives an interesting and informative program on a wide range of photographic topics at each monthly meeting. Some of the topics we have had presented include Sports Photography, “Lighting for Portraits”, “Forensic Photography”, “Photographing Portraits and Architecture, and ” and Digital Photo Enhancement. ContestsThe Photo of the Month contest provides a unique opportunity for our members to receive some community recognition for their photographic efforts. The winner’s photo is displayed at Quail Creek Madera Clubhouse for a month and will

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Ocotillo Room - Kino Center. Alternate locations will be announced. Our format consists of a program with a guest speaker or a member of our club who makes a presentation on some aspect of photography or photo processing and preparation. This is usually followed by a “Show ‘N Tell” session highlighting the efforts of our members. More Info >>
